This exhibition will present a selection of works on paper from the 40s and 50s and run concurrently with a career retrospective "Will Barnet at 100" opening at the National Academy Museum on September 16th.

Brett Bigbee | RECENT PAINTINGS
October 20th through December 17th, 2011
Reception for the artist Saturday, October 22nd from 2 to 4pm
This exhibition will present a survey of paintings completed during the last decade and mark the artist's first exhibition in more than five years. Featured will be Bigbee's new monumental painting of a young girl emerging from the landscape. Five years in the making, Abby captures a fleeting moment of timeless perfection - that time before one starts the awkward transition to adulthood.
