Nominations in 26 competitive categories for the American Theatre Wing's 64th Annual Antoinette Perry "Tony"® Awards were announced on May 4, 2010 by Broadway Star Lea Michele and Tony Award Nominee Jeff Daniels.

The Antoinette Perry "Tony" Awards are bestowed annually on theatre professionals for distinguished achievement. The Tony is one of the most coveted awards in the entertainment industry and the annual telecast is considered one of the most prestigious programs on television.

Santo Loquasto (Fences)
Santo Loquasto, designer for theatre, film, dance and opera, has won three Tony Awards and been nominated 14 times. Film work includes: Big, Desperately Seeking Susan and collaborations with Woody Allen on more than 24 productions. His costume design for Zelig and production designs for Radio Days and Bullets Over Broadway received Academy Award nominations. Recent NY designs include Inherit the Wind, Waiting for Godot, Race and Collected Stories. He received the Merritt Award for Excellence in Design and Collaboration in 2002, the Pennsylvania Governor’s Award for the Arts in 2006 and the Robert L.B. Tobin Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2007. Inducted into the Theatre Hall of Fame in 2004.
