GALA TCHAIKOVSKY Comes To Teatro Cervantes 11/6

Teatro Cervantes presents GALA TCHAIKOVSKY on Tuesday, Nov. 6 at 8 p.m.

With this gala we celebrate the life and work of Piotr Ilych Tchaikovsky on the 125th anniversary of his death. His emblematic concerts for violin and piano will bring us closer to the tragic humanism of the great Russian composer. The evening will begin with one of the greatest musical compositions in history, the Overture 1812 , written on the occasion of Napoleon's defeat in his campaign to conquer Russia and, with the passage of time, turned into the musical insignia of freedom and fight against tyranny.
