Melbourne Shakespeare Company

Melbourne Shakespeare Company

Established by Jennifer Sarah Dean in 2016, the Melbourne Shakespeare Company is a non-profit organisation. Our mission is to make Shakespeare and theater accessible to all in Melbourne. Known for excellence, we stage contemporary adaptations of Shakespeare's plays in picturesque outdoor settings across Victoria. In 2020, we expanded our offerings to include Studio Productions, Australian works, family musicals, radio plays, workshops, and more. Belvoir St Theatre

Belvoir St Theatre

On Tuesday 31st October between 9am and 9pm, Belvoir St Theatre is bursting to announce their first ever Giving Day, where all donations made will be quadrupled by Belvoir's matching partners. Aiming to raise $1 million, funds raised will go towards renovating the foyer and providing additional bathrooms, making them more accessible for guests and reducing the infamous interval bathroom queues. For example, thanks to the matching partners, if you were to donate $10, Belvoir will receive $40 towards the renovations. Prior to this, the building hasn't been renovated since 2006. Belvoir is a not-for-profit charity and all donations made to Belvoir over $2 are tax-deductible. More Information
