Help Send South Australia's Big Nose to the Big Apple

Pinocchio is renowned for telling tall tales, but what about bedtime stories?

Windmill Theatre and State Theatre Company of South Australia are giving you the chance to find out, offering up an exclusive personal bedside story-telling session with the famous wooden boy as part of a new fundraising campaign.

This once-in-a-lifetime experience is just one of the totally wild rewards you can score by donating to the online Pozible campaign, which aims to raise $15,000 to help send the companies' award-winning family musical "Pinocchio" to New York in March, 2015.

Only five story-telling sessions are available for donations of $3000 or more. For a gift of $20,000 you'll get an in-home performance of the full "Pinocchio" score by the cast including Australia's King of Cabaret Paul Capsis, and for $30,000 you and a friend will be flown to New York for opening night plus three nights at the five star Intercontinental Times Square.

But you don't have to be a high roller to reap the rewards!

Donations start at just $10 with rewards including song downloads, exclusive backstage access and limited edition jewellery created by Pinocchio designer Jonathon Oxlade.

A co-production between Windmill Theatre and State Theatre Company of South Australia, "Pinocchio" premiered in Adelaide in 2012 and has had critically acclaimed seasons in Melbourne and most recently Sydney, where it played to over 13,000 young people at the Opera House in May.

Directed by Rosemary Myers and starring Paul Capsis, Danielle Catanzariti, Jude Henshall, Nathan O'Keefe, Jonathon Oxlade and Alirio Zavarce, it will play a two-week season at New York's New Victory Theater in March, 2015.
