Shakespeare's a pretty safe bet if you want a supporting actor nomination at the Oliviers as well.

Three-quarters of the Best Actor nominees got the nod for performances in the Bard's work - and half of the Supporting Actor nominees have done as well.

Ron Cook is nominated for his role as Pistol in Henry V at the Noel Coward Theatre, and Mark Gatiss for his performance as Menenius in the Donmar's Coriolanus.

Ghosts (Almeida/Trafalgar Studios) has done well across the categories this year, and Jack Lowden is their representative here, as the artistic Oswald.

And Ardal O'Hanlon rounds off the category as Jim in The Weir (Donmar/Wyndham's).

Keep up-to-date on Oliviers night (Sunday 13th April) with BWW:UK's live coverage!
