LITTLE REVOLUTION centers on the 2011 summer riots in London and is based around a Hackney shop that gets trashed during the violence.

Playwright Blythe told the Mail the play looks at "two different sides of the street, and deals with the class tensions in inner city London."

The writer will also be making an appearance in the play. Blythe also wrote the acclaimed 2011 musical London Road; Rufus Norris is currently helming a film adaptation of the production. Among Blythe's other plays are Come Out Eli, The Girlfriend Experience and Have I Been All My Life? -- the latter played at the New Vic in 2012.
