The critically acclaimed London tangent of New York's award-winning concert series If It Only Even Runs a Minute will return for two performances only on Sunday October 20th. This, London's third edition of the series, also marks the concert's move from the Landor to the Hippodrome Casino in the heart of the West End.

The concert celebrates the rarely heard scores and behind-the-scenes anecdotes of short- lived and under-appreciated musicals. This edition features performances from West End stars Damian Humbley, Sarah Ingram, Michael Matus and Matthew Rowland with more guests to be announced shortly.

The evening is hosted by Lydia Grant and Oliver Southgate and also features performances from Christopher Bartlett and Georgia Thomas. The concert is directed by Pádraig Kennedy with musical direction by Barney Ashworth.

Damian Humbley recently garnered rave reviews after appearing as Charley Kringas in the Menier Chocolate Factory's revival and subsequent West End transfer of Merrily We Roll Along. Michael Matus recently finished playing Max Detweiler in the Regent's Park Open Air's acclaimed revival of The Sound of Music and prior to that completed the UK tour of Yes, Prime Minister. Sarah Ingram's latest role was in Follies at the Toulon Opera House and her previous West End credits include Flashdance and Imagine This. Matthew Rowland recently appeared as Alf in the European premiere of Darling of the Day and led the original cast of the recent 10th anniversary revival of Taboo as Boy George.

Musicals celebrated at this edition of the series will include Murderous Instincts, The Wild Party (Lippa version), Dogfight, Kelly, The Biograph Girl, Lend Me a Tenor, Evening Primrose, Bat Boy and Nine Wives with more shows to be added.

The series which transferred for the first time last year to Clapham's intimate Landor Theatre was described as "an irresistible evening's entertainment" by OneStopArts, who also commented that "it's all but impossible not to be totally swept up in its exuberance. You'll leave with the broadest of smiles, which will run much longer than a minute.

On the move to the Hippodrome, presenters Oliver Southgate and Lydia Grant commented; "We're so excited to be moving to what is, without a doubt, the perfect venue for our series. It's incredibly special and fitting for us to celebrate some historic musicals in a building that contains so much theatrical history."

If It Only Even Runs a Minute: London Edition 3 is produced by Oliver Southgate for Tinyhuge Ltd in association with Ava Eldred. The ongoing series is based on and inspired by the hit NYC series of the same name created by Jennifer Ashley Tepper, Kevin Michael Murphy and Caleb Hoyer. The New York series is a Time Out Critics' Pick and recipient of the Bistro award for Outstanding Musical Series.
