Cat's theatre credits include the leading role of Mary Magdalene in the recent tour of Jesus Christ Superstar. Her West End credits include Whistle Down the Wind and Fame. She also appeared in the Young Vic's sell out production of Simply Heavenly and the Old Vic's production of Aladdin opposite Ian McKellen. She is probably best known for her regular role as DC Kezia Walker in the long running ITV drama The Bill.
The Hippodrome date marks the first time this new production of OLIVER! has been performed in the Midlands. Samantha Barks leaves OLIVER! to start filming the forthcoming Les Misérables film, starring Hugh Jackman and Russell Crow, where she will be playing the role of Eponine.
