Spector & Bartha Safe After United Flight Fire

Yesterday, May 17, Broadway's Jarrod Spector (JERSEY BOYS) and Justin Bartha (LEND ME A TENOR) were aboard the United Airlines jet that made an emergency landing at Washington Dulles International Airport due to a fire that broke out in the plane's cockpit.

Spector and Bartha were among the 100 passengers of the United Airlines flight. Also on the flight were actress Ashley Olsenand  'Californication' star, Pamela Adlon. The cause of the fire is still unknown. The flight, originally scheduled to land in L.A., safely landed all 105 passengers in D.C. The National Transportation Safety Board is still investigating the case.

Jarrod Spector currently plays the role of Frankie Vallie in the Tony award-winning musical, JERSEY BOYS. Prior to his current role, Spector was in LES MISERABLES (Broadway and National Tour), HAMLET (Off Broadway), and the touring production of JERSEY BOYS.  Justin Bartha gained fame after appearing in The Hangoever blockbuster and is currently starring in LEND ME A TENOR at the Music Box Theatre.
