L.A. Theatre Works' audio production of 'The Hound of the Baskervilles' beat out four other finalists to capture the 2015 Audie Award in the Audio Drama category. The sixth winfor the Los Angeles group was announced by the Audio Publishers Association (APA) yesterday at its 20th Audie Awards Gala in New York City.

Pittsburgh CLO and the University of Pittsburgh present the 25th Gene Kelly Awards for Excellence in High School Musical Theater. The awards show will take place tonight, May 30 at 7:30 p.m. at the Benedum Center in downtown Pittsburgh and will include a celebration of 25 years of this extraordinary program, which began in 1991 and has inspired over 30 programs of its kind across the country.

Denver Center for the Performing Arts Broadway announces the 2015 recipients for The Bobby G Awards, a regional awards program for The National High School Musical Theatre Awards. Emma Buchanan and Evatt Salinger, the 2015 Bobby G Award recipients of the Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role and Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role, will represent Colorado at The National High School Musical Theatre Awards in New York. Both are from Durango High School's production of Les Miserables. Emma Buchanan played Eponine and Evatt Salinger played Jean Valjean.

A limited block of tickets to the 69th Annual Tony Awards will go on sale today to the public at 12 noon EST. Prices range from $300 to $500 and will be available on TonyAwards.com.

Presenters and musical performances have been announced for the 60th Annual Drama Desk awards, taking place on Sunday, May 31st at 8pm at The Town Hall (123 W. 43rd Street). 

The 2-hour, 30-minute special will air from 5:30pm to 8:00pm EST. Viewers will feel like they are right in the action, enjoying interviews with the 2015 Tony Nominees from the red carpet as they arrive for Broadway's biggest night, and of course you'll find the stream on BroadwayWorld.com along with all of our other special Tony night coverage!

Today, the Nederlander Organization and Hollywood Pantages Theatre announced final nominees for THE 4TH ANNUAL JERRY HERMAN AWARDS, a celebration of the achievement and excellence in high school musical theatre in Los Angeles.

On TONY Awards Sunday (June 7), CUNY TV will present 8 hours of interviews related to this year's nominated musicals, plays, and individuals - from 12 noon right up till Tony time (8 p.m. on CBS). Theatre East and Yale Alumni Association of New York will present Elizabeth Parrish with the Laurette Taylor Award tonight, May 28th at Ramscale Studio South, 463 West Street, in the West Village Highline district, NYC. The benefit starts at 7pm with an exclusive cocktail reception, followed by dinner at 8pm. The award will be presented to Ms. Parrish by Kate Mulgrew (Orange is the New Black). The ceremony will include tributes by alumna Meryl Streep and the Stella Adler Studio's Artistic Director, Tom Oppenheim.
