The Sydney Opera House presents new work responding to the ever-evolving landscape as part of the latest season of UnWrapped. Out-of-the-box and stimulating, UnWrapped includes the Sydney premiere of Patricia Cornelius gritty and far-reaching theatrical piece RUNT; Emmy Award-winning filmmaker and artist Lynette Wallworth tells her gripping and personal tale of cultish extremism, as she speaks to her visual masterpiece HOW TO LIVE (After You Die); Sunny Kims poetic response to motherhood, MotherTongue, MotherLand; and re:group performance collectives nostalgic work Coil. Launched in 2018 and curated by Sydney Opera House Director of Programming Fiona Winning, UnWrapped provides a platform for independent Australian artists and small-to-medium companies to showcase new, risk taking work spanning across dance, music, live art and theatre.

The Sydney Opera House announced the rescheduled date for MotherTongue, MotherLand – Korean-born vocalist improviser and composer Sunny Kim's immersive and poetic response to motherhood.
