Rocket Man is a uniquely entertaining tribute to Sir Elton John, one of the most iconic popular music figures in history with a career spanning six decades. Glen Street Theatre presents Rocket Man: Songs and Stories of Elton John on Tuesday 18 August.

The concert spans Elton's first hit song to his music for The Lion King and features the intriguing and often hilarious stories behind the songs.

The show's star, Brenton Edgecombe, learned his first Elton John song at the age of nine while studying violin. He has played violin with several of Australia's professional orchestras and has appeared as "Elton John" backed by the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra. He is also one half of five-time MO Award winning music and comedy duo String Fever.
