Last night the non-profit Gold Coast Arts Center and Gold Coast International Film Festival honored  legendary Chef Jacques Pépin at an exclusive fundraising event celebrating his life and career and BroadwayWorld was there.

For over 25 years, stars of stage and screen have come out to bowl in support of Second Stage's award-winning seasons and to assist the theatre in its fund-raising efforts at its annual All-Star Bowling Classic. Last night, stars gathered at Lucky Strike Lanes and Lounge to bowl and BroadwayWorld brings you photos from inside the event below!

Signature Theatre will present the the world premiere of stop. reset., written and directed by ReGina Taylor, this fall. All tickets for the initial run of the production are $25 as part of the Signature Ticket Initiative: A Generation of Access. The production runs August 20 through September 29, 2013 with a September 8 opening night in The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). Back by 'Popular' demand, Broadway's biggest blockbuster, WICKED returned to its Los Angeles home, the Pantages Theatre, for a strictly-limited engagement this holiday season running through January 29, 2012. When it first played the Pantages in 2005, it broke box office records and sold out in record time. WICKED returned two years later to begin an extended engagement that would go on to run two years, becoming one of the longest-running Broadway musicals in L.A. history. Signature Theatre Company announced yesterday seven productions for its inaugural 2012 season at Signature Center, the company's new Frank Gehry-designed permanent home opening in February 2012. Signature Center will allow the Company to expand its programming, introduce new initiatives, and build audiences. Featuring three intimate theatres, a Studio Theatre, rehearsal studio and a shared lobby with café and bookstore, Signature Center will be both a theatre community hub and a neighborhood destination.

Legendary actress Patricia Neil passed away yesterday, August 8, at her home in Martha's Vineyard at the age of 84. Neal had been fighting lung cancer for several years.

After two wildly successful runs of ReGina Taylor's gospel-driven musical Crowns in 2005 and 2007, Trustus Theatre is celebrating their 25th Anniversary by reviving this hit production in 2010. Crowns opens Friday, February 12 at 8:00pm on the Trustus Main Stage.

The Canadian Stage Company wraps its 2008.2009 season with Doubt, a parable, the award-winning play that's taken North America by storm. The production stars Canadian theatre icons Seana McKenna (Canadian Stage's The Clean House, Wit) and David Storch (Canadian Stage's Frost/Nixon and director of Palace of the End), and is helmed by renowned director Marti Maraden (Canadian Stage's Trying). Frank Wildhorn & Friends was presented at Joe's Pub on Monday, September 5, 2005 and will be repeated on September 12th, and 19th. The September 12th concert takes place at 7:00PM, on September 19th, the show will be performed at 7:00PM, and 9:30PM.
