Point Park University's Conservatory Theatre Company opens its 2013-2014 season with Rodgers and Hammerstein's beloved musical Oklahoma! directed by Broadway star Patrick Cassidy. Oklahoma! opens tonight, Oct. 18, and runs through Sunday, Oct. 27, in the Rockwell Theatre at the Pittsburgh Playhouse. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

Musical Theatre West presents Rodgers and Hammerstein's OKLAHOMA!, which opened last night, February 16, and continues through March 3, 2013. Davis Gaines (LA's Phantom of the Opera, Ovation Award winner for Musical Theatre West's Man of La Mancha) makes his Los Angeles-area directorial debut with this production. As with all Musical Theatre West productions, OKLAHOMA! is locally-produced in Long Beach with professional actors from Broadway, national tours, film and television, including the best in local talent. Oklahoma City Repertory Theatre continues their Eleventh Season with Larry Kramer's THE NORMAL HEART, winner of three 2011 Tony Awards, including Best Revival of a Play. A searing drama about public and private indifference to the AIDS plague and one man's lonely fight to awaken the world to the crisis. Set in the early 1980's, Larry Kramer's TONY award-winning drama THE NORMAL HEART follows Ned Weeks, a gay activist enraged at the indifference of public officials and the gay community. While AIDS ravages New York City, he confronts the personal toll of AIDS when his lover dies of the disease. This production is rated R for Very Strong Adult Language and Adult Themes.

After kicking off the inaugural season of Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater, shattering all box office records from Arena Stage's 60-year history and rounding up 10 Helen Hayes Awards nominations, Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! has returned for a summer run under the direction of Artistic Director Molly Smith. The revival, featuring the entire original principal cast and most of the ensemble, has already broken more company records by selling the highest number of single tickets for a production in 24 hours when tickets went on sale March 3, 2011. Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! began performances on July 8, 2011 and opened July 14. The production runs through October 2, 2011 in the Fichandler Stage. Arena Stage begins a new life in its renovated home at the Mead Center for American Theater in Southwest D.C., opening its inaugural season with a classic American musical that similarly embraces life on a new frontier. Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! is the first production at the Mead Center and features an all-star cast under the direction of Artistic Director Molly Smith. Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! runs October 22-December 26, 2010 in the Fichandler Stage. See below for the production photos!

To open their 70th Season, Paper Mill Playhouse takes a fresh look at this musical theatre classic. Arguably the most brilliant musical ever created, Oklahoma! changed the face of American musical theatre forever. The high-spirited rivalry between the local farmers and cowboys provides the colorful background against which Curly, a handsome cowboy, and Laurey, a winsome farm girl, play out their love story.

Paper Mill Playhouse is proud to announce the opening of the theatre's 70th Season with Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! Created by the team of director, James Brennan, and choreographer, Peggy Hickey, Oklahoma! will run at the Millburn theatre from September 17 through October 19, 2008.
