Legally Blonde Photos - US Tour

For the second production in their 48th annual season of professional summer theatre, Cortland Repertory Theatre presents the blockbuster stage musical version of the hit Reese Witherspoon movie Legally Blonde. Based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the MGM film, the movie was adapted for the stage by Heather Hach, with music and lyrics by Laurence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin.

Just last night, Broadway stars gathered at the Edison Ballroom for BROADWAY BELTS FOR PFF!- an evening of music and comedy benefitting the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. Hosted by the one-and-only actress and comedienne Julie Halston, other participants included Orfeh (LEGALLY BLONDE), Stephanie J. Block (FALSETTOS, THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD), Mario Cantone ('THE VIEW'), Robert Creighton (CAGNEY), Mandy Gonzalez (HAMILTON, IN THE HEIGHTS), Randy Graff (CITY OF ANGELS, THE BABYLON LINE), Stephanie Mills (THE WIZ), NBC's Gus Rosendale, and Lucas Steele (NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812).

Beginning with tonight's performance, Andy Karl and Quinn Van Antwerp have joined the Broadway cast of Jersey Boys. Karl (Legally Blonde, Wicked) steps in the role of Tommy DeVito; Dominic Nolfi departed on September 25th. Direct from the national tour of JERSEY BOYS, VanAntwerp steps in the role of Bob Gaudio; Ryan Jesse departed October 9. Broadway stars and Rock stars joined the audience to dance the night away when Rockers on Broadway returned to BB Kings Blues Club last night, November 8th. Directed by Donnie Kehr, ROCKERS ON BROADWAY-Dance Party featured some of the hottest dance tunes from Elvis to GaGa, performed by Broadway stars and the Rock stars who made them famous. The concert benefits Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS, Broadway Dreams Foundation, Broadway in South Africa, and The Bendheim Performing Arts Center Scholarship Fund.
