The internationally acclaimed St Petersburg Ballet Theatre are set to make a welcome return to the London Coliseum this summer, with their full-length classic production of Swan Lake. The Company's 2015 season was a total sell out with over 25,000 seats sold. Due to huge demand, and additional 9 performances have been added to the season since announcement. The strictly limited 2018 season now takes place between Wednesday 22nd August and Sunday 2nd September 2018. Press night is Thursday 23rd August at 7.30pm

Australia's most successful homegrown musical, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, is previewing to packed houses at Melbourne's Regent Theatre ahead of its official ' pink carpet ' gala opening this Tuesday 30 January. The gala marks the 175 opening night for the iconic hit show, which has travelled to 135 cities in 29 countries around the world since it premiered in Australia a decade ago.

'Romeo and Juliet,' William Shakespeare's classic love story, with a cast of 20, period costuming, sword fights, and scenic design by a Tony Award winner, will be directed by Playhouse Artistic Director Mark Lamos at Westport Country Playhouse, now through November 19. The Oregon Shakespeare Festival production of Luis Alfaro's Mojada: A Medea in Los Angeles comes to The Armory after a triumphant six-month run in Ashland.

Taye Diggs just took over the title role in Broadway's HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH, making his return to the Great White Way after a decade-long hiatus. Diggs stars in the acclaimed musical for a limited 12-week engagement. He takes over from Darren Criss, who just finished his run on July 19 at the Belasco Theatre. Patrick Page played his final performance as 'The Green Goblin' in Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark yesterday, August 5. Broadway star Robert Cuccioli, best known for his Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle winning and Tony-nominated performance as the star of Jekyll and Hyde, will take on the role in his long-anticipated return to Broadway. Cuccioli will play his first performance on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at the Foxwoods Theatre (213 West 42nd Street). The Public Theater hostd the final Public Forum evening of the season, 'Tony Kushner and Oskar Eustis in Conversation,' last night, May 8. In his new play, The Intelligent Homosexual's Guide to Capitalism and Socialism with a Key to the Scriptures, Kushner writes movingly about politics and family in America today-plus unions, real estate and love. Kushner and Eustis discussed these topics and more, with an introduction by special guest host Cynthia Nixon.

It's the summer of 1929, and Myra Tolliver, a divorced woman, is struggling to raise her teenage son in the small town of Harrison, Texas. It's not been easy for her, but she's managed to get by. But now, everything around her is starting to change, in Horton Foote's Talking Pictures, beginning its run at Stage West on Thursday, March 10, as part of the area-wide Foote Festival.

Producer Jeffrey Finn announced that rehearsals began on Monday, September 14 for the first Broadway production of OLEANNA, the provocative drama by Pulitzer Prize winner David Mamet. StarringBill Pullman and Julia Stiles and directed by Tony Award winnerDoug Hughes (Doubt), the play is a gripping account of a power struggle between a male university professor and one of his female students. The Broadway production will begin previews on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at The Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street) with an Opening Night set for Sunday, October 11, 2009. The Canadian Stage Company wraps its 2008.2009 season with Doubt, a parable, the award-winning play that's taken North America by storm. The production stars Canadian theatre icons Seana McKenna (Canadian Stage's The Clean House, Wit) and David Storch (Canadian Stage's Frost/Nixon and director of Palace of the End), and is helmed by renowned director Marti Maraden (Canadian Stage's Trying).
