San Francisco's 42nd Street Moon (Daren A.C. Carollo and Daniel Thomas, Co-Executive Directors), currently celebrating its 25th Anniversary in continuous operation, has announced the full cast and creative team for the final production of the 2017-2018 season: ME AND MY GIRL, a hilarious and delightful 1930s West End smash hit (winner of three Tony Awards for the critically-acclaimed 1986 Broadway revival). ME AND MY GIRL features book and lyrics by L. Arthur Rose & Douglas Furber, revised by Stephen Fry with contributions by Mike Ockrent, and music by Noel Gay. ME AND MY GIRL runs from May 2 - 20, 2018 and will perform at San Francisco's Gateway Theatre (formerly the Eureka Theatre). The press opening will take place on Saturday, May 5 at 6:00 p.m. Tickets range from $25 - $75 and can be purchased through the Box Office at (415) 255-8207 or online at www.42ndstmoon.org.

Now playing at the Bass Concert Hall through April 30th, is the 1986 classic Phantom of the Opera. This Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, still running on Broadway as the longest running show in Broadway's history, has you humming as you leave the theater. Although many people criticize Andrew Lloyd Webber for his repetitive melodies, it is the magic of his music that will keep you singing a song or two and memorably reliving his orchestrations.

Sex, power, institutional failure, human frailty, betrayal, dreams and madness are at the core of celebrated Cuban-American writer Maria Irene Fornes's Pulitzer-Prize nominated play What of the Night?

Award-winning ShowKids Invitational Theatre (SKIT) kicks off its season with Disney's MY SON PINOCCHIO: Geppetto's Musical Tale.  Real boys and girls of all ages will delight in the classic tale of an aging toymaker and his beloved wooden puppet in this Disney gem.

Broadway fans had plenty of reasons to celebrate this year, with dozens of shows having opened since January, hundreds of actors having made their debuts, and many more having returned to the stage for critically acclaimed performances. Not all news was good though, as we also suffered a loss of an incredible amount of talent. Below, BroadwayWorld sends a fond farewell to those who passed away in 2014.

Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston will present Me and My Girl from July 10-20, 2014 as part of its 46th Annual Summer Season at the Robinson Theatre (617 Lexington St. Waltham, MA). Me and My Girl is the joyously funny story of an unrefined cockney gent who must choose between love or money. The mixture of cockney and nobility results in a rollicking, hilarious Downton Abbey with engaging song and dance. Me and My Girl Director Cynthia Thole is a Broadway veteran and choreographer who was an original cast member in the Tony Award-Winning Broadway revival of Me and My Girl. Reagle Music Theatre is the long-running regional theater company known for casting Broadway stars alongside regional talent. Reagle's summer season will close with a deluge on stage in Singin' In the Rain (August 7-17).

Pulitzer Prize-winner Lawrence Wright premieres his new play at Berkeley Repertory Theatre. It is a fictional play about the last days of legendary journalist Oriana Fallaci. Don't miss this sizzling new script, which is directed by Oskar Eustis, stars Concetta Tomei and Marjan Neshat, and features an incredible team of designers. The 65th world premiere presented by Berkeley Rep, Fallaci is currently in previews in the Roda Theatre and opens March 13, running through April 21. Roundabout Theatre Company announced the full cast this July for the new Broadway production of Rupert Holmes' Tony Award-winning musical comedy The Mystery of Edwin Drood. The show is set to open on November 13, 2012 and will star Stephanie J. Block as Edwin Drood. Meet the whole cast in the video and bios below!
