After a breif hiatus, ROCK OF AGES re-opened at the Helen Hayes Theatre on Broadway on March 24. The five-time Tony Award nominated musical played its final performance at The Brooks Atkinson Theatre on Sunday, January 9, 2011. ROCK OF AGES will soon become Hollywood's Biggest Party as filming recently began in Miami, Florida for the New Line Cinema Film. Directed by Adam Shankman, the film stars Tom Cruise as 'Stacee Jaxx,' Diego Boneta as 'Drew,' Julianne Hough as 'Sherrie,' Russell Brand as 'Lonny,' Alec Baldwin as 'Dennis,' Mary J. Blige as 'Justice,' Brian Cranston as the Mayor, Malin Ackerman as 'Constance Sack,' Catherine Zeta-Jones as the wife of the Mayor and Paul Giamatti as 'Paul Gill.'

Constantine Maroulis and Rebecca Faulkenberry took ROCK OF AGES to DANCING WITH THE STARS tonight. Hosted by Tom Bergeron ('America's Funniest Home Videos') and Brooke Burke ('Dancing with the Stars' Season Seven Champion), the celebrities perform choreographed dance routines which will be judged by renowned Ballroom judge Len Goodman and dancer/choreographers Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.

Before Tony nominee Constantine Maroulis took on a leading role on the Great White Way, he was just s singer from a small New Jersey based band. Quickly after starring in the fourth season of American Idol, alongside Carrie Underwood, Maroulis brought his talent to Broadway, starring in THE WEDDING SINGER and ROCK OF AGES soon after. The production moved houses to make way for RAIN, which had to vacate it's home at the Neil Simon Theatre to accommodate Catch Me If You Can. Last night, February 16, 2011, the first National Tour's cast of the five-time Tony Award Nominated smash hit musical ROCK OF AGES performed on "Lopez Tonight". The cast, led by Tony Award Nominee Constantine Maroulis (Drew) and Rebecca Faulkenberry (Sherrie), performed a medley of songs including "Here I Go Again" and "Don't Stop Believin". "Lopez Tonight" airs weekdays on TBS at midnight EST.

The best of Broadway is being presented free on six consecutive Thursdays this summer with '106.7 Lite fm Presents Broadway in Bryant Park 2010' - a lunchtime series which began on Thursday, July 8th at 12:30pm on the Bryant Park Stage. Sponsored by Bank of America, and JCPenney 33rd & 6th, and hosted by Lite fm's on-air personalities, the tenth annual presentation of open-air, On- and Off- Broadway lunch hour performances runs through August 12th.

Rock of Ages star Constantine Maroulis recently sat down for an interview with ABC News to talk about the show, his growth since American Idol, and the recent Times Square bomb scare. Maroulis reported that he is still a big fan of Idol, and even predicted Lee DeWyze as a possible winner for this season.

Broadway's ROCK OF AGES celebrated its 1 year anniversary on Broadway last night, April 6, 2010. In celebration, fans paid tribute to the show, revealing how the show has affected them and why they can't get enough of it. Check out the tribute below!

In a show of semi-permanent appreciation, ROCK OF AGES honored of one of its most dedicated fans and winner of its holiday 'Deck the Halls Extreme Rock' contest, Gavin Knox, this month. For the Christmas challenge, the production invited fans to submit a performance video of a holiday carol, sung in the rockin' style of the hit show. The winner was selected by ROCK OF AGES cast members, including Constantine Maroulis, Kerry Butler, and James Carpinello. The prize package included a pair of tickets to the performance, a backstage tour, a curtain call ovation, dinner for two at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square, a copy of the original cast recording, and a Temptu tattoo, applied by the show's make-up artist, worn by the cast members on stage each night.

The stars of Broadway's ROCK OF AGES have banded together to raise funds for World Vision, a humanitarian fund that has been in Haiti for 30 years in an effort to contribute to the country's relief. Stars Kerry Butler, Lauren Molina and James Carpinello introduce the fundraiser in the video below. The production will be auctioning off items, the first of which is a backstage tour with Butler.
