On October 15, 2010, The New York Pops orchestra - famous for presenting popular music with a symphony orchestra of the highest quality - will launch its 28th season; a Carnegie Hall series celebrating the stylistic diversity of some of popular music's greatest icons. Music Director Steven Reineke leads the orchestra in this electrifying season, which includes chart-topping pop hits, a tribute to the greatest living lyricist and composer of American musical theater, holiday favorites, sizzling Latin flair, and an evening of songbook classics associated with a legendary American icon. MAMMA MIA! Producer Judy Craymer Signs on for SPICE GIRLS Musical

Judy Craymer, producer of the global film and theatre smash hit, Mamma Mia!, has announced an agreement with Simon Fuller's new XIX company, The Spice Girls and Universal Music. A Broadway Green Alliance E-Waste event, hosted byKerry Butler and Valerie Smaldone, will be held on Wednesday, December 16, in Duffy Square at noon. The Broadway Green Alliance, with the support of WeRecycle!, encourages the New York City theatre community to come deposit their Electronic Waste (broken cell phones, computers, printers, and dry batteries) in the center of Times Square for safe disposal and recycling.

The 21st Annual GYPSY OF THE YEAR COMPETITION announced an all time record total of $4,630,695 had been raised by the 60 participating Broadway, Off-Broadway, and National Tour companies to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. This year's total breaks the previous record when $3,927,000 was raised for the 2007 GYPSY OF THE YEAR COMPETITION.

Following the Tampa run, Wonderland will play a limited engagement at the Alley Theatre in Houston, Texas, beginning Jan. 15, 2010.
