Pride Films and Plays will enliven the New Year by bringing back two leading actresses from its recent acclaimed production of the musical The Boy From Oz in a new show entitled Judy Garland and Liza Minnelli - Once in a Lifetime: The London Palladium Concert - a Tribute, featuring Nancy Hays (as Judy Garland) and Michelle Lauto (as Liza Minnelli), with music direction and orchestral arrangements by Robert Ollis (co-producer).  This loving musical tribute recalls the historic concert by these two famous performers at the London Palladium, just as Liza's singing career was beginning to take off. The Boy from Oz veterans Cameron Turner (choreography) and John Nasca (costume design) will round out the creative team for this dynamic new show. (more...)

A new batch of tickets are now on sale for the Off-Broadway premiere of Jerry Mayer's new comedy, 2 ACROSS, which began a open-ended engagement on November 14th at St. Luke's Theatre (308 West 46th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues). Emmy Award nominee Evelyn Rudie ("Eloise") directs a cast that stars Andrea McArdle and Kip Gilman. Tickets are now on sale through March 20th. Wednesday Matinees at 2pm have also been added to accommodate the demand. Happy Birthday, Mario Cantone! He made his Broadway debut in 1995 as replacement for the role of Buzz in the Tony Award-winning play, Love! Valour! Compassion!. Later that year, he returned to Broadway again in the revival of The Tempest. In 2004, Cantone starred in the Stephen Sondheim musical Assassins as Samuel Byck. His latest Broadway credit was in his second one-man show, Laugh Whore, which he also wrote. Laugh Whore ran from October 24, 2004, to January 2, 2005, at the Cort Theatre and received a Tony Award nomination for Best Special Theatrical Event. (more...)

Grammy Nominated Singer-Songwriter Lisa Loeb brings her signature vocal stylings to The Copa Palm Springs for one special performance, December 11 at 8:00 pm. Loeb is a touring artist, author and philanthropist who started her career with the platinum-selling Number 1 hit song "Stay (I Missed You)" from the film Reality Bites. A trailblazing independent artist, Lisa was the first pop musician to have a Number 1 single while not signed to a recording contract. She followed that remarkable feat with the hit singles 'Do You Sleep,' 'I Do' and 'Let's Forget about It " and the albums Cake and Pie and No Fairy Tale, among others. As part of Roundabout Theatre Company's 50th Anniversary Season, Broadway In Chicago and Roundabout Theatre Company have announced casting for the national tour of Sam Mendes (Spectre, American Beauty) and Rob Marshall's (Into the Woods and Chicago, the films) Tony Award-winning production of CABARET.  Individual tickets for the Chicago premiere of Roundabout Theatre Company's CABARET will go on sale Friday, December 11.  CABARET will play Broadway In Chicago's newly named The PrivateBank Theatre (18 West Monroe) for a limited two-week engagement February 9 - 21, 2016.  (more...)

As part of their 50th Anniversary Season,Roundabout Theatre Company is proud to announce casting for the national tour of Sam Mendes (Spectre, American Beauty) and Rob Marshall's (Into the Woods and Chicago, the films) Tony Award-winning production of CABARET. Randy Harrison, best known for his portrayal of Justin in the Showtime drama 'Queer as Folk,' will step into the role of the Emcee while Andrea Goss, a veteran of Roundabout's CABARET on Broadway will return to the role of Sally Bowles when the tour premieres in Providence, RI at the Providence Performing Arts Center with performances beginning Tuesday, January 26.
