Diversionary Theatre will stage the musical play Moscow as the sixth and final show of their 2009-2010 season. Moscow is a musical play involving three men attempting to define who they are and why they are confined together in an abandoned theatre. While enduring their 'soul searching,' they make use of their time by playing sockball and by acting out various roles from Anton Chekhov's play The Three Sisters. While self exploration, relationship conflict and gay romance are part of the chemistry, Moscow amplifies universal and eternal questions: 'Who are we, Where are we, and Why are we here?'

Saks, Executive Director of the Ellen Stone Belic Institute, and About Face Theatre Artistic Director, Bonnie Metzgar, announce the world premiere of a new one-person play, SWEET TEA: Black Gay Men of the South, written and performed by E. About Face Theatre Board President Bill Michel today announced the appointment of Jason Held as AFT's new Executive Director. Held brings his experience as a lawyer, political fundraiser and advocate for LGBTQ youth to AFT, most recently working for the Illinois Safe Schools Alliance.

One of the most successful and popular theatrical franchises is Dan Goggin's Nunsense series. In all, there are nine different stage productions that revolve around the Little Sisters of Hoboken. This summer, the hilariously funny, gender-bending installment of the collection, Nunsense A-Men!, is set to entertainment audiences at The Way off Broadway Dinner Theatre. The production opens June 25th and runs through August 29th.

Northern Stage's production of the Off-Broadway smash Greater Tuna will end its run May 2nd. This madcap romp features two veteran Northern Stage actors, Scott Cote (Beauty & the Beast, Cabaret, Moon Over Buffalo) and Kevin Loreque (I Am My Own Wife, The Full Monty, CATS, The Elephant Man, Cabaret,) playing 19 characters-men, women, even Yippy the dog-in 90 minutes. Next Theatre Company and Artistic Director Jason Southerland are thrilled to announce the 30th anniversary season, a year dedicated to plays that explore the myths that men and women create about their lives. The season opens in the fall with a world premiere presented at the National New Play Network's annual showcase.
