Leads Announced for 'Pirate Queen'; Plays Chicago in Oct.

Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schoenberg's THE PIRATE QUEEN, the spectacular new musical from the authors of Les Miserables and Miss Saigon, will play a pre-Broadway, World Premiere engagement in Chicago from October 3rd through November 26th, 2006.

There is sure to be dish on SEUSSICAL, the Paul Simon flop THE CAPEMAN and what it was like going on for Aldonza in MAN OF LA MANCHA. Seth also promises great B roll of her as Anita in WEST SIDE STORY and scoop about her final call back for Cassie in the upcoming CHORUS LINE revival.

The production will star Josh Strickland as Tarzan, Jenn Gambatese as Jane, Merle Dandridge as Kala, Shuler Hensley as Kerchak, Chester Gregory II as Terk, Timothy Jerome as Professor Porter and Donnie Keshawarz as Clayton. Daniel Manche and Alex Rutherford will alternate in the role of Young Tarzan.
