Tim Kazurinsky and George Wendt Lead Northlight Theatre's The Odd Couple

Northlight Theatre, under the direction of Artistic Director BJ Jones and Executive Director Timothy J. Evans, announces the first selection of its 2012-13 season: Neil Simon's The Odd Couple, featuring comic actors Tim Kazurinsky and George Wendt, directed by Artistic Director BJ Jones.

BroadwayWorld.com reported the news exclusively on January 9, 2012 and now the The Public Theater has officially announced the line-up for the 50th Anniversary Shakespeare in the Park season at the Delacorte. Daniel Sullivan, who directed acclaimed productions of All's Well That Ends Well, The Merchant of Venice and Twelfth Night in the Park, will return to direct AS YOU LIKE IT in June with Lily Rabe as Rosalind. The second show of the 50th Anniversary summer season will be Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's beloved musical INTO THE WOODS, directed by Timothy Sheader with co-direction by Liam Steel. Based on the Olivier Award-winning Regent's Park Open Air Theatre London production in 2010, The Public Theater's INTO THE WOODS will be an all new production with an American cast and designers and will be staged in one of the most beautiful outdoor venues in the world-the Delacorte Theater. INTO THE WOODS will begin performances at the end of July.

Colin Donnell, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Betsy Wolfe (in photos) play four friends at different points in their lives, in Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along, the first New York City Center Encores! production of the season. Merrily We Roll Along, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by George Furth, will be directed by James Lapine with music direction by Rob Berman and musical staging by Dan Knechtges. Merrily has been extended for a two-week run and will play for 15 performances, February 8-19, 2012, at New York City Center 55th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues.

Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along, the first New York City Center Encores! production of the season, is now in rehearsals in anticipation of a February 8 - February 19 run. Merrily We Roll Along, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by George Furth, is being directed by James Lapine with music direction by Rob Berman and musical staging by Dan Knechtges. On February 28, EMI will release 'Immersion' and 'Experience' editions of Roger Waters' opus, Pink Floyd 'The Wall,' as the final installment of the recent 'Why Pink Floyd?' reissues and extended releases. 'The Wall' remains Pink Floyd's biggest-selling release after 1973's legendary 'The Dark Side Of The Moon.'
