San Francisco Ballet, long recognized for pushing boundaries in dance, has announced its 2017-18 Season program and schedule. This summer, SF Ballet will return to Festival Napa Valley for one performance only on Friday, July 21, 2017, accompanied by members of the SF Ballet Orchestra.  Northrop announces its 2017//2018 dance season featuring nine great dance companies, with three ballet presentations, four performances with live music, and vibrant contemporary dance. In addition to two story ballets, there are new Family and seasonal series packages and a family dance special.

Doug Varone and Dancers proudlyreceived a National Dance Project (NDP) Touring Award from the New England Foundation for the Arts (NEFA) which will support the company's United States tours of in the shelter of the fold during the eighteen-month tour period of June 1, 2017 - November 30, 2018.

As previously announced, the critically acclaimed Broadway production of Fiddler on the Roof will end its run on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 2:00PM. This revival will have played a total of 463 performances when it gives its final bow. Just confirmed, a National Tour is planned beginning in the fall of 2018.
