Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts (The Wallis -- Tania Camargo, Managing Director; Patricia Wolff, Interim Artistic Director; James D'Asaro, Interim Producing Director) announce Artistic Advisors and programming for the 2015-2016 Season, opening October 1-3 with Twyla Tharp: a 50th Anniversary Celebration, a program of new work by Ms. Tharp, co-commissioned by The Wallis (in partnership with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, The Joyce Theatre, Ravina Festival Association & Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University and Texas International Theatrical Arts Society).

Mayo Performing Arts Center gets into the spirit of the season with two delightful treats for people who enjoy celebrating Halloween. For those who enjoy ghoulish fun, MPAC unleashes the mayhem and madness of EVIL DEAD - THE MUSICAL on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 8 pm. Tickets are $29-$59. For people who like their Halloween fun to be a little 'wicked,' BEWITCHED BROADWAY features four former stars of Wicked performing the greatest Broadway hits that audiences love to hear on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 8 pm. The Old Globe opens its 2015-2016 Season with IN YOUR ARMS, a World Premiere dance-theatre musical featuring direction and choreography by Tony Award winner Christopher Gattelli (Newsies, Godspell, Lincoln Center Theater's The King and I and South Pacific) and original music by Tony Award winner Stephen Flaherty (Ragtime, Once on This Island; two-time Oscar nominee for Anastasia). The production begins tonight, September 16, with an opening slated for September 24, and runs through October 25, 2015.
Way Off Broadway's 2016 Season to Feature ANYTHING GOES, SPAMALOT & More

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre, the Frederick area's only year-round professional producing theatre, has announced its 2016 Season. Producers for the theatre are excited to bring the line-up of shows to the theatre because it will mark an expansion of Way Off Broadway's Mainstage season. Since 2004, the theatre located in the Willowtree Plaza off of Route 40 West in Frederick has produced five Mainstage shows each season. The 2016 Season will mark the beginning of a six show season for Way Off Broadway. In addition, all six shows will be first-time productions for Way Off Broadway, never having been staged by the theatre before.

The Huntington Theatre Company will open its 2015-2016 season with the Tony Award-winning musical A Little Night Music, Stephen Sondheim's most romantic and popular work, led by Tony and Olivier nominee Haydn Gwynne, as well as Broadway's Stephen Bogardus and Lauren Molina. Huntington Artistic Director Peter DuBois (after all the terrible things I do; Smart People; Rapture, Blister, Burn; and Becky Shaw) will direct. The musical masterpiece returns, direct from Broadway! As part of their 50th Anniversary Season, Roundabout Theatre Company just announced that the national tour of SAM MENDES (Skyfall, American Beauty) and ROB MARSHALL'S (Into the Woods and Chicago, the films) Tony Award®-winning production of CABARET, will premiere in Providence, RI at the Providence Performing Arts Center with performances beginning Tuesday, Jan. 26 through Sunday, Jan. 31 and an official opening on Thursday, Jan. 28 2016. This tour ofCABARET marks Roundabout Theatre Company's third production on the road, having previously produced the critically acclaimed tours of Twelve Angry Men and Anything Goes.
