The curtains are up for the Philly 2012-2013 Theater Season. From daring new works and world premieres, popular Broadway tour stops and of course, your favorite classic stage productions. Here's just a few of Philadelphia's favorite theaters listings.

The Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall announces its Legendary 2012-2013 Season, including some of the biggest and stars in entertainment. Sarasota premieres feature Sheryl Crow, John Legend, Queen Latifah, Celtic Woman and John Lithgow while returning favorites include Diana Krall, Glen Campbell, The Beach Boys, Paul Anka, Johnny Mathis, Dave Koz and Natalie Cole.

On Monday September 24th at 9:30pm, a gathering of some of New York's finest guitarists and vocalists will come together at The Triad Theatre 158 West 72nd Street to for the 2nd installment of Just A Guitar Concert Series. In April 2012 the series debuted as benefit for the Grammy's MusiCares. This Just A Guitar Concert will be an eclectic evening of amazing music - featuring acoustic and electric guitar accompaniment only. Check out the performers below.

On August 20, 2012, Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa held a special preview event to highlight its upcoming Broadway Series for the 2012 - 2013 Season. Hennepin Theatre Trust announced today that flexible ticket packages including productions from the 2012/13 Broadway Across America-Minneapolis Season will go on sale tomorrow, Wednesday, August 15 at 10 a.m. Shear Madness and Monty Python's Spamalot have been added as season specials as well as Elton John and Tim Rice's Aida, a co-production in partnership with Theater Latte Da. Aida, directed by the acclaimed Peter Rothstein, which runs January 3-27, 2013 at the Pantages Theatre. Shear Madness will be at the Pantages, February 27-March 17, 2013 and Spamalot at the Orpheum Theatre, March 15-16, 2013.
