Movie fans get ready… it's that time of the year again, and The Granada Theatre's popular Summer Film Series is back! The Santa Barbara Center for the Performing Arts (SBCPA) is pleased to present their most exciting lineup of films yet, encompassing a wide range of genres that all guests are guaranteed to enjoy! This summer, The Granada Theatre will screen films in three series: "Summer Classic Movie Series," "Comedy Tonight: The Films of Mel Brooks," as well as a returning favorite, the "Reel Cool Summer Series!". Around the World in 80 Days will kick off the summer series on May 22, followed by cult classic, Blazing Saddles, on May 24, and Shrek on May 25. The Old Globe's world premiere of Anna Ziegler's THE LAST MATCH, directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch (who directed Bethany at the Globe in 2014), opens tonight, February 18, 2016.

The Old Globe's world premiere of Anna Ziegler's THE LAST MATCH, directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch (who directed Bethany at the Globe in 2014), will run in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center, tonight, February 13, through March 13, 2016.

The Donmar announces full casting for the UK premiere of Elegy by playwright Nick Payne. Directed by Artistic Director Josie Rourke, the full cast is Barbara Flynn as Carrie, Nina Sosanya as Miriam and Zoe Wanamaker as Lorna, all making a return to the Donmar stage. Elegy starts previews from 21 April and imagines a very-near future in which radical and unprecedented advances in medical science mean that it's now possible to extend life.

Producers Al Corley ('Dynasty') and Marty Kaplan have announced the world premiere of PHALARIS'S BULL: SOLVING THE RIDDLE OF THE GREAT BIG WORLD, conceived and performed by Steven Friedman and directed by David Schweizer, will play a strictly limited 5 week engagement from tonight, December 12, 2015 to January 16, 2016 at The Beckett Theater at Theatre Row, 410 West 42nd Street.

The Rogues Gallery, a Geek Theater Company, presents SHOGGOTHS ON THE VELDT, a CTHULHU adventure comedy by Cameron McNary, directed by Daniel Wood. The production runs at Inscape Arts tonight, November 13 - December 5, 2015.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater and piece by piece productions have announced that the The Reverend Micah Bucey will moderate a post-show panel discussion following the performance of the world premiere play Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, America, Kuwait, written and directed by Daniel Talbott, tonight, June 16, at The Gym at Judson, 243 Thompson Street. The panelists will include Greg Grandin, Morgan Jenness, and Michael Ratner.

Strange Sun Theater - under the direction of Artistic Directors Jessica Bashline and Evan Mueller - concludes its third season with a workshop/showcase production of the new musical, CLOSER THAN YOU THINK. Performances will begin June 18 in The Black Box Theater at The Sheen Center, 18 Bleecker Street in Manhattan.

The Twentieth-Century Way, Tom Jacobson's acclaimed two- person play about homosexual entrapment in Los Angeles at the turn of the 20th century, premieres off-Broadway this spring. Directed by The Theatre @ Boston Court's Michael Michetti, and starring Will Bradley and Robert Mammana, the play begins previews tonight, May 28, 2015, with opening night set for June 3, 2015 at Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre (224 Waverly Place, NYC). The limited engagement will run through July 19, 2015.

Artistic Director Michael Halberstam and Executive Director Kathryn M. Lipuma announce the Writers Theatre production of Doubt: A Parable by John Patrick Shanley, directed by William Brown. The show runs tonight, April 28 - July 19, 2015 at Glencoe Union Church, 263 Park Ave, Glencoe. The Press Openings are Wednesday, May 6 and Thursday, May 7.

The opening night is set for Tuesday, June 9 at 7pm. The production is scheduled to run through Saturday, June 27.
