Burning Coal Theatre Company of Raleigh, NC will present two plays in repertory, Gee's Bend by Elyzabeth Gregory Wilder and Southeastern Center for Contemporary Arts by Angus MacLachlan April 15 - May 2, 2010 at Meymandi Theatre at the Murphey School, 224 Polk Street, Raleigh.

Local playwright Masha Obolensky's new play Not Enough Air will end its run at the Nora Theatre Company March 14th. Not Enough Air tells the riveting story of two women: one on trial for murder, the other a writer determined to tell her story. Performances of the show began February 11th.

The critically acclaimed Donmar Warehouse production of RED begins performances tomorrow night, Thursday, March 11 at the Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street), for a limited 15-week engagement. RED opens on Broadway on Thursday, April 1.

Rehearsals begin today for Goodman Theatre's world-premiere production of The Long Red Road by Brett C. Leonard, directed by Philip Seymour Hoffman, February 13 - March 14, 2010 in the Goodman's Owen Theatre.

Gareth Hale will play Scrooge in Susie McKenna and Steve Edis' adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, which is to open in the newly refurbished Arts Theatre in November this year. A Christmas Carol, produced by Tiny Tim Productions, will preview from 11 November, with the press performance on 25 November, and is booking until 10 January 2010.
