Award-winning Playwright/Composer CAROL HALL joins Kia Corthron, Jeffrey Sweet, Gary Garrison, Roland Tec, Hilary Chaplain & David Engel, Kristine Niven and Margo Hammond in Artistic New Directions' presentation of 'AN ECLECTIC EVENING OF SHORT WORKS.'

Casting has been announced for the San Francisco engagement of Disney's High School Musical playing the Orpheum Theatre April 15-27, 2008.

American Conservatory Theater announced the casting today for David Mamet's brisk, cutting comedy on the movie business, Speed-the-Plow, directed by Loretta Greco. The cast features 2007 Drama Desk Award-nominee Andrew Polk, Matthew Del Negro ('The Sopranos'), and Jessi Campbell (A.C.T.'s Blackbird). Speed-the-Plow plays A.C.T. January 4 through February 3. Press night is Wednesday, January 9.

Cheryl Freeman, currently starring in the Off-Broadway musical Walmartopia, will perform her one-woman nightclub act, 'I'm Every Woman: A Musical Journey' on Thursday evening, December 6, 2007 at The Metropolitan Room
