A New Historical Fiction Series from Popular Naval Fiction Author Michael Aye is Released

Bitingduck Press is pleased to announce 'The War of 1812Remember the Raisin' by Michael Aye, to be released Fall 2013. This marks the launch of a new historical fiction series set during the War of 1812, showing real events in a fictionalized format. Facing one failure after another, President Madison appoints Jonah Leea trusted scout for General 'Mad' Anthony Wayneto ensure that the Northern American army under General William Harrison takes the fight to the British, pushing them back into Canada. The first book moves from the massacre at the River Raisin to Commodore Perry's great defeat of the British on the Great Lakes to the overwhelming British defeat at the battle of the Thames.

Nina Arianda to Star in FELLINI BLACK AND WHITE Film

Tony Award-winner Nina Arianda will play Italian film star Giulietta Masina, wife of visionary filmmaker Federico Fellini, in Fellini Black and White produced by Andrew Lazar (Jonah Hex, I Love You Phillip Morris). The film, written and directed by Henry Bromell (consulting producer and writer of Showtime's Golden Globe Award-winning series Homeland) is set to begin production in early 2013. Arianda joins a cast that includes Oscar-nominees William H. Macy, Terrence Howard, Emmy and Golden Globe winner Peter Dinklage, and Brazilian breakout star Wagner Maura who will play the title role of the iconic director.
