Benny Andersson and Bj?rn Ulvaeus' global smash hit musical MAMMA MIA! will end its record-breaking engagement at Mandalay Bay Theatre this Sunday, January 4, 2009. After nearly six years on The Las Vegas Strip, MAMMA MIA! set the precedent for musicals in Las Vegas celebrating more than 2,200 performances and 2 million guests.

Vegas Strip Performers Help At Le Cordon Bleu Thanksgiving

Yesterday afternoon, Tuesday, November 25, cast members from The Strip's hottest shows, Phantom - The Las Vegas Spectacular and Jersey Boys, participated as 'celebrity servers' at the Le Cordon Bleu Thanksgiving lunch. STOMP OUT LOUD kicked off the event by raiding the culinary school's kitchen and performing one of their exhilarating routines. The event is held each year for senior citizens and at-risk children who may not otherwise have a Thanksgiving meal.

'The Mirage' Reignites Las Vegas Strip

The Mirage today announced details of a dynamic redesign to its signature Volcano. Known the world over for its iconic Strip-front feature, The Mirage has joined forces with legendary Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart, Indian tabla sensation Zakir Hussain and Fountains of Bellagio design firm WET, to create an all-new audio/visual spectacle. The top-to-bottom overhaul is the final step in the property's ongoing transformation and is scheduled for completion late 2008.

Village Theatre KIDSTAGE Ensemble produces You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, running April 10-20, 2008 at the Everett Performing Arts Center. Based on the classic Charles M. Schultz's Peanuts comic strip, this award-winning musical is told through a series of songs and vignettes that mimic the four-panel format used by the original cartoon strip. The KIDSTAGE production is based on the 1999 revival of the musical which received two Tony Awards. The revival version of the show has been updated and re-orchestrated since the original production; it has challenging four part harmonies and contemporary pop rhythms.
