Perseverance Theatre Artistic Associates Shona Strauser and Bostin Christopher team up for the first time on Betrayal by Harold Pinter. Strauser plays Emma and Christopher directs in this first ever production of Pinter at Perseverance. The show plays from tonight, Jan. 11-Feb. 3, 2013 on the Perseverance Theatre Mainstage.

The Minnesota Jewish Theatre Company has announced its 18th season. Barbara Brooks, MJTC's producing artistic director stated, "I'm very excited about our upcoming 18th season. 18 is a special number, Chai, in the Jewish tradition, and we're moving into this season with some special firsts: our first summer run and an enlarged season with five shows for the first time."

The Old Globe's 2012-13 Season will feature the World Premieres of two new musicals: Allegiance - A New American Musical by Jay Kuo and Lorenzo Thione and A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder by Robert L. The season also includes George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion in celebration of the classic play's 100th anniversary and the World Premiere of a new adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's A Doll's House by Anne-Charlotte Hanes Harvey and Kirsten Brandt. Two recent Broadway hits will make their San Diego debuts at the Globe: David Lindsay-Abaire's Good People and Jon Robin Baitz's Other Desert Cities. Rounding out the season are the West Coast Premiere of Bekah Brunstetter's Be a Good Little Widow and the Southern California Premiere of Tarell Alvin McCraney's The Brothers Size.

The world premiere of SHAKESPEARE AND ME written by and starring Joey Wishnia and directed my Harry A. Cruzan plays a limited engagement (April 16th, 27th & 28th) at The Byers-Evans House Museum. Joey Wishnia shares his personal, dramatic, and often hilarious, experiences with Shakespeare. Throughout his long career, Joey has appeared in 19 of Shakespeare's plays and directed five of them on three different continents. From his first school play through his most recent readings, he shares the trials and tribulations of an actor working with the Bard, including his encounter with the greatest Shakespearean actor of the last century - Sir Laurence Olivier. Joey is a master storyteller weaving Shakespeare's words effortlessly into, and through, his own stage experiences.

TACT/The Actors Company Theatre (Scott Alan Evans, Cynthia Harris and Jenn Thompson, Co-Artistic Directors), the critically-acclaimed Off-Broadway company "dedicated to presenting neglected or rarely produced plays of literary merit," announced today that due to a demand for tickets, two weekday matinee performances (Wednesday, April 4 & 11 at 2pm), have been added for Lost in Yonkers, the final production of the company's 2011/12 season. Directed by TACT Co-Artistic Director Jenn Thompson, performances began at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre (410 West 42nd Street - between 9th & 10th Avenues) on Tuesday, March 13th, 2012 and the enjoyed an official opening night on Thursday, March 22nd. Two-time Tony Award nominated costume designer Carrie Robbins, and scenic, lighting, costume designer and educator Lloyd Burlingame are among the 2012 TDF/Irene Sharaff Awards recipients. Ms. Robbins was selected to receive the 2012 TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award for costume design, and Mr. Burlingame will receive the Robert L.B.
