Staying true to its mission to present 'retro theater,' Retro Productions is proud to announce its 2009 - 2010 season! Retro's 5th Birthday season kicks off with their fall production: the depression-era tale Holy Days by Sally Nemeth. In spring 2010, Retro Productions will present the classic 1950's office comedy William Marchant's The Desk Set. The 2009 - 2010 season marks Retro's third season in residence at The Spoon Theater.
MCC Theater's STILL LIFE Opens 10/5

MCC Theater (Robert LuPone, Bernard Telsey, Artistic Directors; William Cantler, Associate Artistic Director; Blake West, Executive Director) presents the world premiere of Alexander Dinelaris' Still Life, directed by Will Frears. The cast will feature Dominic Chianese, Halley Feiffer, Ian Kahn, Adriane Lenox, Kelly McAndrew, Sarah Paulson, Matthew Rauch and Frederick Weller. Performances began at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC) on September 16 and continue through November 1, 2009.

This week's issue of Entertainment Weekly magazine checked in with the rep for Evan Rachel Wood, who previous rumors stated was let go as Mary Jane, along with other contracted performers from SPIDER-MAN when the show hit financial troubles. Wood's representative tells the magazine however that she is still on board and that she was never set loose. Co-star Alan Cumming's rep was 'unavailable for comment.'
