The Chattanooga Symphony & Opera today announced their 2014/15 season, led by Music Director Kayoko Dan in her fourth season. The regular concert season will begin in September 2014 and go through April 2015. "The 2014-15 season should be one of the most memorable in the CSO's history," stated CSO Executive Director Molly Sasse. "The opportunity to perform with world-renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma is just the beginning. In watching 42nd Street at Creative Ministries Performing Arts Center (CM PAC), I couldn't help noticing that it seems the utmost important piece of this show is for the cast, wherever it may be running, be beyond top notch. There is no room for a weak link or it could come off really badly. Indeed, the cast of this Patrick Grossman directed incarnation is fantastic and delivers an energetic show.

Broadway and film star Bobby Cannavale attended last night's preview performance of THE SILVER CORD, which is scheduled to open officially next Tuesday, June 11th at Off-Broadway's Theatre at St. Clement's. Bobby brought along a couple of his fellow actors from Broadway's THE BIG KNIFE, Lee Aaron Rosen and Mark Zeisler. This marked a reunion with SILVER CORD star Dale Carman, who served in the wardrobe department for THE BIG KNIFE through the end of its limited engagement last Sunday. Cast members from both shows posed for onstage photos after the performance.
