The 2012 Tribeca Film Festival (TFF), presented by American Express®, today announced the World Narrative and Documentary Competition film selections, along with selections for the out-of-competition Viewpoints section-the program established last year that highlights personal stories in international and independent cinema. Goldfinger has emerged as a playwright in the region, with her World Premieres of the terrible girls (Azuka Theatre, 2010) and Hershel & The Hanukkah Goblins (Gas & Electric Arts, 2011). Slip/Shot will run from April 11 to May 5 at the Adrienne's Second Stage, located at 2030 Sansom Street, Philadelphia, PA. CENTERSTAGE and Westport Country Playhouse have announced casting for their co-production of Into the Woods, and Broadway fans will be excited to hear that the original Little Red Ridinghood, Danielle Ferland, is making her way back Into the Woods. The production is set to run March 7-April 15 at CENTERSTAGE before moving to Westport Country Playhouse in May. Monday February 27, THE COLUMN AWARDS (TCA) organization honored excellence in theater within the Dallas-Fort Worth Theater community, which held its 13th annual gala this past Monday. TCA is the only awards organization in the United States that donates all money (after expenses) to BROADWAY CARES/EQUITY FIGHTS AIDS. A charity they have been associated since its inception. Taking place from March 1 - 4 in the Carnival Studio Theater, MIAMI MADE FESTIVAL 2012 will feature the work of 10 artists representing the incredible breadth of work emanating from Miami's ever-evolving artistic scene, including five new interdisciplinary theatrical performances (two of them world premieres!). The 2012 installment of MIAMI MADE FESTIVAL has also expanded to include more genres of the performing arts - with the inclusion, for the first time, of live concerts showcasing new music throughout the weekend and a photo exhibition.
