John B. Branson Pens THIS WAS IN GOD'S PLAN

'This Was in God's Plan: Psalms of Today': an inspiring collection of poems with current themes to celebrate the Lord. 'This Was in God's Plan: Psalms of Today' is the creation of published author, John B. Branson, a coal miner in Nottingham, England, until he moved to Wyoming in 1975 to mine soda ash. While working in the mine, he encountered the Lord Jesus and was mightily Saved and delivered from alcoholism and tobacco. Soon after, the Lord moved him to Seattle, where John discovered he had been given a gift to write poetry. There he met his wife, Prudence, and together they make their home in Bothell, Washington. They feel very blessed to have most of their family living nearby. They have three sons, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. ???????A cast of nine women led by Karen Lynn Gorney bring to life a story of the generational effects of the Holocaust in 'From Silence,' a new play by Anne Marilyn Lucas.  It is widely acknowledged that even as Holocaust survivors are passing on, their trauma lives on in their children and grand children.  This play explores how such trauma is inherited even without being spoken of, seemingly as a genetic or behavioral legacy.  The piece then illustrates that speaking out, processing and understanding can bring healing to families.  This world premiere will be presented by Theater for the New City from November 4 to 20, directed by Peter Zachari.
