South Coast Repertory's first NewSCRipts reading of the 2008-09 season will be Mat Smart's Thomas Repair. Thomas Repair is the 106th play to receive a staged reading as part of SCR's venerable play reading program. Smart also had the honor of kicking off the 2006-07 NewSCRipts season with his play The 13th of Paris. The NewSCRipts reading of Thomas Repair will take place on October 27 at 7:30pm on the Julianne Argyros Stage.
Steppenwolf's DUBLIN CAROL Announces Extension - New Tickets Go On-Sale Thursday

Due to popular demand, Steppenwolf Theatre Company is adding five additional performances to its special engagement of Dublin Carol by Conor McPherson, directed by ensemble member Amy Morton. A new block of tickets for performances December 26 - December 28 goes on sale Thursday, October 23 at 11 a.m.

Rock-It Science Records presents Broadway's Greatest Gifts: Carols for a Cure, Volume 10. TV: Telling 'A Tale of Two Cities' with Natalie Toro

Natalie Toro starred as Eponine in the Original Broadway of Les Miserables. Her other stage credits include A Christmas Carol, Jesus Christ Superstar and the title role in the acclaimed 1999 20 Anniversary National Tour of Evita. In A Tale of Two Cities she stars as Madame Therese Defarge. In the third of a series of BWW TV interviews with the cast of the new Broadway bound musical, she shares her personal insight into the character of Defarge, finding new inspiration during rehearsals and how the story continues to be emotional for her as it readies for the first preview performance.

The New Mel Brooks Musical Young Frankenstein, a new musical comedy from the creative team of the 12-time Tony Award winning smash The Producers, will open on Broadway November 8th 2007 at the Hilton Theatre (213 W 42nd St). Previews begin October 11th 2007. The production stars Roger Bart (Dr. Frederick Frankenstein), Megan Mullally (Elizabeth), Sutton Foster (Inga), Shuler Hensley (The Monster), Fred Applegate (Kemp) and Christopher Fitzgerald (Igor).
