John Leguizamo's one-man Broadway production that explores subjects ranging from the history of Latino people to more personal topics such as his relationships with women and his complicated family dynamics. Leguizamo tells his story from childhood to fatherhood through the eyes of a myriad cast of characters, including his father, his friends and his lovers.

Producers Phil Monat, T. Richard Fitzgerald and Randall L. Wreghitt announced today that TALLEY'S FOLLY, the classic Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Lanford Wilson (Burn This, Fifth of July, Balm in Gilead) will have its first-ever Broadway revival as part of the 2010-2011 Season. The production will begin previews in spring 2011, with exact dates and a theater to be announced.

La Jolla Playhouse is pleased to present John Leguizamo Diary of a Madman as part of its Page To Stage program, by special arrangement with WestBeth Entertainment. The production will run March 4 - 14, 2010 in the Mandell Weiss Theatre. Performances take place Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:30 pm; Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8:00 pm; Sunday at 2:00 pm.

Berkeley Rep Announces Creative Team For Green Day's AMERICAN IDIOT, Kitt and Hoggett Join Production

Today Berkeley Repertory Theatre announced the creative team for its world premiere of American Idiot. Based on the Grammy Award-winning album of the same name, the show features the music of Green Day and the lyrics of its frontman Billie Joe Armstrong. American Idiot is being staged by Tony Award-winning director Michael Mayer, who also collaborated with Armstrong on the story. It features the work of Olivier Award-winning choreographer Steven Hoggett and music supervisor Tom Kitt, the Tony-winning composer who provided string arrangements for the band's latest album, 21st Century Breakdown.
