Beginning Thursday October 31, Sierra Stages presents CLOSER THAN EVER, a musical revue, as the final production of its fifth season. When it debuted in 1990, CLOSER THAN EVER was hailed by The New York Times as having 'one of the half-dozen finest American theatre scores of the last decade." According to an Equity casting notice, Sting's new stage musical, THE LAST SHIP, which will soon have a benefit concert at the Public Theatre, will be heading to Broadway in 2014. Rehearsals are set to begin in May of 2014, with an out of town run beginning in June, and Broadway previews beginning in October/November.
