Shakespeare?s Globe will revive Dominic Dromgoole?s 2007 production of Love's Labour's Lost between September 25 and October 10, concluding the Globe's highly successful 2009 summer theatre season. Following its run in London, it will transfer to the US for a two month tour of North America ? the first under Dominic's direction of the Globe ? visiting Ann Arbor, Philadelphia, Berkeley, Davis, Santa Barbara, Santa Monica, Holyoke and New York.

Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at the Music Center welcomes the return of American Ballet Theatre (ABT), America?s National Ballet Company®, led by Artistic Director Kevin McKenzie, to the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, July 16-19, with its full-evening production of Sir Kenneth MacMillan's Romeo and Juliet. It will be the first of nine productions during the Globe's most ambitious season to date, which explores the great expanse of the heart. Shakespeare's heartbreaking tale of these tragic and iconic young lovers is widely considered to be one of the greatest of all love stories, and this will be Dominic's first production of the play.
A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed repertory theatre company, stages Henrik Ibsen?s Ghosts, a haunting tale of unrequited passion, revelation and horror, which opens Saturday, March 21 and runs through Saturday, May 9, 2009 (previews begin Saturday, March 14). Directed by Michael Murray, the cast features Mark Bramhall (Estrand), Alex Feldman (Oswald), Rebecca Mozzo (Regina), Deborah Strang (Mrs. Alving) and Joel Swetow (Manders).

Jenen, Executive Director, will present the fourth year of its popular YOUNG COMPANY, which creates classical works specially tailored for young audiences. This season's production will focus on Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet, and will run from February 23 through March 6 at Classic Stage Company (136 East 13th Street). Columbia M.F.A. student actors will be featured in Shakespeare's most romantic play, in this thrilling interpretation ideal for all ages 12 and up. Directed by Tony Speciale, Romeo & Juliet will be presented in a 90 minute abridged version specifically geared toward student and family audiences. Tickets are $25, and $15 for Students/Seniors. Each child under 12 gets in free with one adult ticket.
