Songwriting team Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II brought melodies and words to life in some of the most iconic movie musicals of the 20th Century, and now Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment plans to bring that magic home with The Rodgers & Hammerstein Blu-ray Collection today, May 6.

The schedule for this summer's Lincoln Center Out of Doors festival, which runs from July 20 to August 10, was announced today by Bill Bragin, Lincoln Center's Director of Public Programming. Nearly 100 free performances will take place across the plazas of Lincoln Center during three weeks. A special Memorial Concert for Pete and Toshi Seeger on July 20 will be followed by the official opening concert on July 23 with Larry Harlow's Hommy: A Latin Opera, the landmark work's first performance in 40 years. The Public Theater announced additional casting today for MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, the first show of The Public's 2014 season of free Shakespeare in the Park at the Delacorte. Directed by Jack O'Brien, MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING begins previews on Tuesday, June 3 and runs through Sunday, July 6, with an official press opening on Monday, June 16.

The Prism Prize has announced two new award categories as part of the ceremony recognizing the achievements of music videos by Canadian artists and filmmakers at the Prism Prize Awards Reception on March 23, 2014. The new awards include the Prism Prize Special Achievement Award, presented to a Canadian music video artist for their artistic achievements and exceptional contribution to music video art on a world stage; and the Arthur Lipsett Award, presented to a Canadian music video artist for their innovative and unique approach to music video art. Arthur Lipsett was a Canadian filmmaker best known for his sound collage films made for the National Film Board of Canada in the 1960s. Lipsett's unique approach to editing sound and image earned much attention, as well as an Oscar Nomination in 1962 for the film Very Nice, Very Nice.

As plans were being made for its centenary celebrations in 2011, a devastating earthquake and tsunami struck east Japan, challenging the nation with an unprecedented crisis. Lyrics are projected on the screen during the movie so that the audience can easily sing along to 'Do-Re-Me,' 'Edelweiss' and, of course, 'My Favorite Things.' The film is preceded by a hosted warm-up and a 'fancy-dress' costume contest. Sing-A-Long Sound of Music runs Today-Sunday, November 29-December 1, 2013 at the Music Box Theatre, 3733 N. Southport Avenue.

According to published reports, legendary choreographer Marc Breaux passed away on Tuesday, November 19, in his Mesa, Arizona assisted living home. He was 89 years old.

In 1994, The Beatles' Live at the BBC was released to worldwide acclaim - hitting number one in the U.K., number three in the U.S. and selling more than five million copies within six weeks. A new companion to The Beatles' first BBC collection, On Air - Live at the BBC Volume 2, is out as of today, Monday, November 11 in 2CD and 180-gram vinyl packages with a 48-page booklet. On Air's 63 tracks, none of which overlaps with The Beatles' first BBC release, include 37 previously unreleased performances and 23 previously unreleased recordings of in-studio banter and conversation between the band's members and their BBC radio hosts.
