David Strathairn and Melissa Friedman to Star in Staged Reading of Hannah and Martin

On Wednesday, November 17 at 7 p.m., the Epic Theatre Ensemble will present a staged reading of Kate Fodor's acclaimed play Hannah and Martin at the Museum of Jewish Heritage - A Living Memorial to the Holocaust. David Strathairn and Melissa Friedman will star in this play about the controversial relationship between Jewish political theorist Hannah Arendt and her mentor and lover, Martin Heidegger, the renowned philosopher who used his fame and brilliance to help further the goals of the Nazi party.

Elaine Paige, the renowned British musical stage star, recording artist and actress who recently celebrated her 40th anniversary on stage, is in New York City recording a new "Duets" album for Warner Bros Records that is being produced by the legendary Phil Ramone. Among the internationally renowned recording artists participating in the venture are (in alphabetical order): Paul Anka, John Barryman, Michael Bolton, Kenny G, Olivia Newton John, Barry Manilow, Johnny Mathis, Billy Ocean, Le Ann Rimes, Jon Secada, Neil Sedaka and Dionne Warwick.

Mary Hart, the host of Entertainment Tonight, announced today that her final year on the show will be ET's upcoming 30th season, which launches September 13, 2010. Hart joined ET in 1982 and was inducted into the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame in 1999 recognizing her contributions to television.

TCM Film Festival & Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to Honor Mel Brooks in April

Legendary funnyman Mel Brooks is set to be a featured guest at the TCM Classic Film Festival in April. As part of the festivities, TCM will partner with the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce as they honor Brooks with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, which marks its 50th anniversary this year. Brooks will also introduce a festival screening of his first feature film, The Producers (1968), which earned Brooks an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.
