Amphibian Stage Productions (Kathleen Culebro, Artistic Director) today announced casting for its first main stage production of the 2014 season, Bank Job, a world premiere by award-winning playwright John Kolvenbach. Leicester Landon, Alexandra Lawrence, Michael Muller, William Earl Ray, and Marshall York will star in this comedy, running Thursday, February 13 through Sunday, March 2 at Amphibian's theater at 120 S. Main Street. Jessica Bauman will direct the production.

The Old Vic presents the UK premiere of Jon Robin Baitz's acclaimed play, Other Desert Cities, directed by Lindsay Posner, which will be the first in a season of productions to be presented in-the-round at The Old Vic.

Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Machinal, starring Rebecca Hall, written by Sophie Treadwell and directed by Lyndsey Turner, began previews on December 20, 2013 ahead of an official opening on January 16, 2014 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway. Samantha Bond (Passion Play, Amy's View, Downton Abbey, Outnumbered) plays Muriel Eubanks, a glamorous divorcee looking for love in Beaumont-sur-Mer on the French Riviera and John Marquez (Privates On Parade, The Taming of the Shrew, Doc Martin) plays Andre Thibault, Beaumont-sur-Mer's Chief of Police.

The full cast for The El. Train, joining the previously announced Ruth Wilson, is Simon Coombs, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Christian Edwards, Nicola Hughes, Adam Sopp, Ony Uhiara and Zubin Varla.

Denver Center Attractions willo present Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company's THE SANTALAND DIARIES. Local favorite Matt Zambrano dons the candy-cane tights, bringing to life David Sedaris' hilarious real-life story of working as an 'elf' in Macy's SantaLand. Institute, in association with the Loeb Drama Center, brings another children's story to life - The Light Princess, by Lila Rose Kaplan with music by Mike Pettry, directed by Allegra Libonati, with choreography by Jeff and Rick Kuperman.
