Jane Austen's Emma - A Musical Romantic Comedy, with book, music and lyrics by Tony Award nominee Paul Gordon and direction by Tony Award nominee Jeff Calhoun, will run in the Old Globe Theatre Jan. 15 - Feb. 27. Preview performances run Jan. 15 - Jan. 22. Opening night is Jan. 23 at 7:00 p.m.

FOOTLOOSE: The Dance Musical will begin performances for its fifth UK tour on Friday, January 21 at the Newcastle Theatre Royal, ending its run at the Leeds Grand Theatre on Saturday, July 2, 2011.

Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced the complete cast and creative team for Jane Austen's Emma - A Musical Romantic Comedy. The musical, with book, music and lyrics by Tony Award nominee Paul Gordon and direction by Tony Award nominee Jeff Calhoun, will run in the Old Globe Theatre Jan. 15 - Feb. 27. Pasadena Playhouse (Sheldon Epps, Artistic Director and Stephen Eich, Executive Director) announced principal casting for the new musical DANGEROUS BEAUTY by Jeannine Dominy (book), Amanda McBroom (lyrics) and Michele Brourman (music). Joining the principal cast, with previously announced lead actress Jenny Powers (Broadway's Grease) as Veronica Franco, are James Snyder (Drama League Award-nominee for Broadway's Crybaby) as Marco, Bryce Ryness (Drama Desk Award-nominee for Broadway's Tony Award-winning revival of Hair) as Maffio, Laila Robins (Broadway's Heartbreak House) as Paola, Michael Rupert (Tony and Drama Desk Awards for Sweet Charity) as Domenico, Megan McGinnis (Ovation Award-nominee for the Rubicon Theatre's Daddy Long Legs) as Beatrice, John Antony (Broadway's Passion) as Pietro and Morgan Weed (Second Stage Theatre's Next to Normal) as Giulia. Tony Award-nominee Sheryl Kaller directs the world premiere, which begins performances on February 1, 2011 with the official press opening on February 13, 2011 at Pasadena Playhouse (39 S. El Molino Avenue).

Past 'agenda items' have included the continuing romantic saga of gay penguins at the San Francisco Zoo, a nativity play celebrating the birth of Quentin Crisp, a guide to the so-called 'gay panic' defense, and musical numbers with Poor Baby Bree and Cole Escola. The November show will feature special guest stars Ben Cameron (Aida, Footloose, Wicked, Broadway Sessions with Ben D, Mostly Sondheim at The Duplex), Emily McNamara (The Awesome 80s Prom, Curtain Call at Splash Bar), and Molly Pope (Introducing Molly Pope, The Molly Pope Show, Our Hit Parade at Joe's Pub).

The Tony Award-winning hit Broadway musical will also be presented by arrangement with Josef Weinberger Limited on behalf of Music Theatre International of New York. Performances are scheduled to run 23 September 2010 - 31 October 2010.

William Shakespeare's classic comedy A Midsummer Night's Dream is re-imagined with a queer aesthetic in Mauckingbird Theatre Company's gender-bent tale of modern love, directed by Mauckingbird Artistic Director Peter Reynolds and co-Director Lynne Innerst.

Logan is doing 'La Cage' for the third time in two years, but it's his first-ever show on Broadway!

CHESS opened at the Signature Theatre on August 10 and will run through September 26. Chess is being performed in the fabulous intimacy of the 276-seat MAX Theatre.
