The Ford's Theatre Society continues its 2009-2010 season with 'Little Shop of Horrors' by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman, March 12 to May 22, 2010.

The 2009-2010 season of Reprise Theatre Company continues with 'A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum,' 1962's Tony-Award-winning Best Musical, March 16 to 28 at UCLA's Freud Playhouse. Directed by David Lee, the production's book is by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.

Jonathan Larson Award Winning composer Matt Gould and Griffin Matthews have been invited to workshop their new piece, WITNESS UGANDA, alongside Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin, Godspell) as part of the Disney/ASCAP Workshop. Schwartz has described Witness Uganda as 'a new form of musical theatre...breathtaking.'

Hennepin Theatre Trust announced today the fall 2009 honorees from among 39 Minnesota high schools participating in its 2009-10 SpotLight Musical Theatre Program. These SpotLight honors recognize students for their individual and group accomplishments in performance and production. Theater Latté Da today announced that Azudi Onyejekwe will join the cast of Violet in the role of Flick, the young black soldier who teaches Violet (played by Children's Theatre Company childhood star Britta Ollmann) about beauty, courage and what it means to be an outsider. A recent graduate of the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, Onyejekwe makes his Twin Cities theater debut in the production, directed by Peter Rothstein and featuring a score by Tony Award nominee Jeanine Tesori, the composer whose music brought Tony Kushner's book and lyrics for Caroline, or Change to life. Onyejekwe's musical credits also include Pippin, Into the Woods, Jesus Christ Superstar and, most recently, Once On This Island at the Cortland Repertory Theatre in upstate New York.

ASU Gammage and the national touring company of ANNIE is looking for any past cast members from the Broadway production of ANNIE that played in New York from 1977 and 1997. The ANNIE tour will be returning to ASU Gammage, December 29, 2009 through January 3, 2010.

Phoenix Theatre's Greasepaint Youtheatre is kicking off the season with an all new production of the beloved, Tony Award-winning musical Oliver! Opening night of the production is December 4, 2009 and will run through December 20.

Real-life married couple Paige Davis and Patrick Page will star in a special engagement of I Do! I Do!, the classic Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt musical based on The Fourposter by Jan de Hartog, in The Old Globe's new Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre. The well-loved classic, by the creators of The Fantasticks, spans five decades in the life of a married couple - from the nervousness of their wedding day to the wisdom of old age. I Do! I Do! will run Dec. 11 - 20, 2009.
