It is with sadness that the Stratford Festival bids farewell to the man who was Canada's oldest working actor. William Needles died January 12, at the age of 97, surrounded by his family, at a hospice in Alliston, Ontario. Just days earlier, he had left his adopted hometown of Stratford, after suffering a massive heart attack on December 19.

La Jolla Playhouse announces additional projects for its second Without Walls (WoW) Festival today, October 9 - 11, featuring more than 20 immersive and site-based works taking place simultaneously in and around the Playhouse Theatre District, UC San Diego campus and the surrounding neighborhood.

Two brothers, Earl and Ray, travel to Bernalillo New Mexico upon the mysterious death of their estranged father, Henry. The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University, under the leadership of Artistic Director Diane Paulus, began rehearsals today (pictured, left) for the world premiere musical Waitress. Based on the motion picture written by Adrienne Shelly the new musical has a book by Jessie Nelson, music and lyrics by Sara Bareilles, direction by Diane Paulus, and choreography by Chase Brock.

Beverley Knight is to star in Andrew Lloyd Webber's record-breaking musical Cats to play the role of Grizabella. Returning to the London Palladium from 23 October 2015, Lloyd Webber's record breaking Cats will run for a ten week season until 2 January 2016. Tickets are from £20 with top price seats at £59.50 and children's tickets at half price for Monday to Thursday performances.
