American tenor Ben Bliss is regarded as one of the most exciting young singers of the day. An alumnus of the Music Academy of the West, he received a 2016 Lincoln Center Emerging Artist Award for his work with the Metropolitan Opera and he performs to unanimous critical acclaim, praised for his elegant phrasing and charming stage presence. Performing here immediately prior to his Carnegie Hall debut, this artist of rare versatility will breathe new life into an eclectic program of art song and arias by Britten, Mozart, Duparc, Bellini, Respighi, Donizetti and Chausson.
