Continuing its season "The Best of Times is Now," The Ziegfeld Theater presents Nunsense, the "habit-forming," off-Broadway smash hit musical.

After losing most of their convent to a leper-colony mission and an unfortunate food poisoning incident, five unforgettable nuns hold a fundraiser to help pay the burial costs for their sisters. Their variety show of music, dancing and comedy will have Catholics and heathens alike falling out of their chairs before the evening is over.

Nunsense is the second-longest running off-Broadway production and its popularity has lead to two films, six sequels and three spinoffs. "It's habit-forming!"

Nunsense is directed by Kristin Parry, music directed by Hailey Weeks, and choreographed by Jessica Hollingsworth.

The Ziegfeld Theater continues its fourth season in 2016 with an hilarious musical comedy. Under the executive leadership of Caleb and Morgan Parry and the artistic leadership of Rick Rea, the theater pursues a mission of "Professional Standard, Community Spirit" as it strives to bring quality entertainment to diverse audiences in Northern Utah.

The opening gala and performance is Friday, September 9 at 7:30 p.m. Regular performances are 7:30 p.m. every Friday and Saturday, adding Monday performances at 7:30 p.m. on September 19 and 26 as well as 2:00 p.m. Saturday matinees August 27 and September 3. Run Time: approximately 150 minutes.

The Ziegfeld Theater is located at 3934 S. Washington Blvd., Ogden, UT 84403. Box Office: 855-ZIG-ARTS or www.theziegfeldtheater.com. Tickets: $17 for children, students and seniors and $19 for adults if purchased online. Tickets no longer available online at 6:30 p.m. the night of the performance (1:00 p.m. for matinees).
