Yekaterinburg Opera and Ballet Theatre has prepared a fantastic gift for the audience. 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 March 2014 the theater presented a new production of "The Nutcracker" - one of the most beloved by audiences around the world ballets by PI Tchaikovsky.
The new "Nutcracker" has everything to win the love as the most sophisticated, and totally unprepared public, both children and their parents. The play, in which a fairy tale, philosophy, poetry and, of course, the brilliant music of Tchaikovsky merge into a perfect whole, delicately shaded by choreography by Vasily Vainonen. Today it is recognized as the canonical version of the choreography and more than 80 years does not leave the scene of the Mariinsky Theatre - the world's largest custodian of the masterpieces of classical dance.
Philosophical quest Hoffmann (author of the fairy tale "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King"), in which the contradiction between the real and imaginary worlds, the heroes of doom to eternal desire for the unattainable ideal, Marius Petipa revised in amazing fantastic adventure. The play serene children's party full of laughter, warmth and fun paintings replace confrontation of good and evil. But the tale is a fairy tale. Anticipation of a miracle does not leave for a minute, sometimes it seems that for a moment and become real and Konfityurinburg, and the starry sky, and a handsome prince. Tchaikovsky's music, more recently, to create an atmosphere of celebration and fun-filled children's dreams in an instant heroine Marie brings a new world in which the notes are sounded older and wisdom.
